SOLENCE Releases “Dead_Alive” Ahead of Fifth Album “ANGELS CALLING”
Brickinfo News Agency – Swedish electronic metal band SOLENCE has released their new single “Dead_Alive” on June 27, 2025. This track is the latest offering from their upcoming fifth album, “ANGELS CALLING,” which is scheduled for release on October 3 via Better Noise Music. The song features a blend of pop hooks, electronic elements, and heavy metal influences, confronting themes of societal turmoil while maintaining a hopeful message.
“Dead_Alive” follows the album’s initial single, “Where Were You..?,” which was made available on May 13 as an instant download for album pre-orders. The visualizers for both tracks are accessible on Better Noise Music’s official YouTube channel.
Markus Videsäter, SOLENCE frontman, described “Dead_Alive” as one of the “heaviest songs on ANGELS CALLING.” He stated, “We really wanted to go full on with this one. The song itself is about a world on fire where instead of acting on it we all walk around like we’re ‘Dead Alive.’ Think this is one of the most powerful choruses we’ve written to date, really excited for people to hear this!”
Based in Los Angeles, and originating from Sweden, SOLENCE comprises Markus Videsäter (frontman), David Strääf (guitarist), Johan Swärd (keyboardist), and David “Viking” Vikingsson (drummer). The band aims to provide an uplifting experience through their music.
ANGELS CALLING follows their EP BLUE MONDAY, released in January, which included new songs such as “F**k The Bad Vibes” and “A Banger A Day Keeps The Doctor Away.” The band has built a global audience through tours with acts like Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills, along with appearances at various festivals in Europe and the U.S. Since their formation in 2012, SOLENCE has amassed over 365 million cumulative streams and 96 million video views. Their 2019 debut album BROTHERS and subsequent releases, including DEAFENING (2021) and HOPE IS A CULT (2023), have contributed to their reputation for combining rock, metal, and pop elements.
