Japanese R&B artists SIRUP and Ayumu Imazu announce their first official collaboration, "UNDERCOVER," with a new track and music video.

Brickinfo News Agency – Japanese artists SIRUP and Ayumu Imazu have released their first official collaboration, “UNDERCOVER feat. Ayumu Imazu,” now available on all major platforms. The R&B track was produced by Taka Perry and explores themes of online and offline identities.

SIRUP is recognized for his vocal style, which incorporates both rap and singing, within a sound rooted in neo-soul and R&B, with influences from gospel and hip-hop. He has previously collaborated with artists from various countries, including the UK, South Korea, Australia, and Taiwan. His collaborations extend to brands such as JAMESON, BOSE, and MINI. In 2022, SIRUP performed his first solo concert at Nippon Budokan, and in 2024, his music received a nomination at the Golden Melody Awards (GMA).

Ayumu Imazu, born on May 12, 2000, in Osaka, is a multidisciplinary artist who composes, choreographs, and performs in both Japanese and English. His 2024 track “Obsessed” reached the top of Korea’s Billboard Japan Songs chart and was recognized with a 2024 Japan Record Award.

The song’s release is accompanied by a music video directed by Daiki Kamoshita. The video features stunt choreography by Saori Izawa, known for her work in films such as Kingdom and Rurouni Kenshin. Ayumu Imazu also contributed to the choreography for the video’s final dance sequence.
