Tilly Birds Releases Third International Single, ‘Never A Waste Of Time’

Brickinfo News Agency – Thai alternative rock band Tilly Birds has released their third international single, “Never A Waste Of Time,” continuing their global strategy under GMM Music in partnership with Warner Music Asia. The trio, consisting of Third (vocals), Billy (guitar), and Milo (drums), follows their previous English-language tracks, “White Pills” and “Retro-39,” with this new ballad.

“Never A Waste Of Time” is a melancholic song reflecting on the conclusion of a relationship while acknowledging the significance of shared experiences. The track’s musical foundation originated from a chord progression developed by Milo. Third wrote the lyrics, conceptualizing a declining relationship as an inevitable, yet initially vibrant, process. Billy contributed guitar tones and production work to the single. The song also features lyrical and melodic contributions from Nache and Alex Sypsomos, who previously collaborated on “White Pills.”

The band described the single as a track their long-time fans have anticipated, noting its melancholic yet comforting nature. According to Tilly Birds, the song addresses “the beauty of farewells — how even though things may end, the memories and time spent together are never meaningless. They live on in our hearts and are always worth remembering.”
