AIS Partners with NBA to Broadcast 2026-27 Season and Launches Fan Zone at Emsphere

Brickinfo News Agency – Advanced Info Service (AIS) and the National Basketball Association (NBA) announced a broadcast partnership for the 2026-27 NBA season on the AIS PLAY platform, accompanied by an interactive fan zone event held in Bangkok.

The collaboration features live coverage of regular-season games, marquee events, and the postseason through to the 2027 NBA Finals. In conjunction with the season tip-off, an NBA Fan Zone was established at EM WONDER on the 5th floor of Emsphere, running from October 22 to 25. The installation offers public access to basketball exhibits, including authentic All-Star jerseys, a dunk photo booth, a height-comparison wall, and official team interactive displays.

The programming also includes an NBA Locker Room Live Talk panel on October 23, featuring Thai sports commentators and local basketball figures discussing season developments and league analysis.

Rungtip Jarusiripipat, Head of Entertainment Department at AIS, stated that the platform has consolidated its sports offerings into the PLAY ALL package, which includes broadcasts of the NBA alongside other global leagues such as the NFL, Bundesliga, and professional golf tours. Coverage under this package encompasses regular-season fixtures, the NBA All-Star Weekend, the Western Conference Finals, and every game of the NBA Finals.

Kelly Cooke, Head of Content Partnerships and Direct-to-Consumer at NBA Asia, noted that the collaboration aims to provide direct access to live broadcasts and community-oriented events for basketball audiences in Thailand.

Broadcast options available for Thai viewers include the PLAY ALL Package, accessible across mobile, web, and smart TV platforms, and a standalone NBA Package offering live broadcasts and integration with Prime Video, covering events such as the Emirates NBA Cup, Play-In Tournament, and Eastern Conference Finals.
