True Corporation Receives GSMA Digital Nation Video Award 2026 for Excellence in Sustainability

Brickinfo News Agency – True Corporation has been awarded the GSMA Digital Nation Video Award 2026 in the Excellence in Sustainability category by GSMA Asia Pacific for its production titled "Sustainability at True," which outlines the company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance and initiatives.

The video details metrics across True Corporation's operational pillars. Under its governance framework, the company reported enabling access to digital learning platforms for over 33.7 million individuals, conducting digital skills training for 90% of its workforce, and achieving an "Excellent" rating in corporate governance. In social initiatives, the telecommunications provider reported expanding 5G network coverage to 94% of Thailand's population, filing 125 patent and petty patent applications, and providing livelihood support to 378,735 vulnerable individuals. Regarding environmental metrics, all primary suppliers passed sustainability assessments, and operational greenhouse gas emissions decreased by 28% through the end of 2025.

Dr. Naetchanok Wipatasinlapin, Chief Sustainability Officer of True Corporation Plc, stated that sustainability initiatives remain integrated with the company's long-term operations, noting the use of digital systems to improve energy efficiency, lower emissions, and expand access to telecommunications services.
