SCG Outlines Regional Strategy to Drive Inclusive Green Growth and Low-Carbon Transition Across ASEAN

Brickinfo News Agency – SCG has released its latest corporate campaign, “SCG Future Express,” detailing the industrial conglomerate’s strategic roadmap to act as an ASEAN Strategic Partner and accelerate the region’s transition toward a low-carbon economy through inclusive green growth.

The strategic initiative focuses on expanding sustainable industrial infrastructure, clean energy technologies, and eco-friendly solutions across Southeast Asia. Central to this regional development is the Long Son Petrochemicals (LSP) complex in Vietnam, an integrated petrochemical facility established to supply polymers for regional manufacturing and long-term economic development.

SCG also highlighted several international joint developments aimed at decarbonizing industrial operations. The group is collaborating with US-based RONDO Energy to deploy clean-energy heat battery storage solutions in ASEAN, while partnering with Japanese firms to develop eco-friendly building materials and living innovations.

Additionally, the company is engaging with global research institutions to facilitate technology exchanges for disaster resilience and climate adaptation across member states. The strategy consolidates SCG’s regional investments around clean technology, sustainable packaging, and cross-border industrial partnerships.
