Under the agreement, Thinking Machines will operate as "Thinking Machines Data Science, a Temus entity" while retaining its brand and leadership. Stephanie Sy, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Thinking Machines, will remain in her current role and join the Temus leadership team as Managing Director, Applied AI. The joint entity aims to combine Temus' application engineering and strategic consulting with Thinking Machines' technical AI capabilities, including data engineering and workforce training.

The expansion comes as public and private organizations in Thailand increase efforts to deploy AI technology in line with the government's 2026 economic initiatives. Thai enterprises face operational bottlenecks, including talent shortages, data readiness gaps, and legacy system modernization needs. The combined entity will focus on closing these implementation gaps for local clients—such as Banpu, CP Group, SET, and PTTGC—by establishing scalable data platforms, governance frameworks, and repeatable delivery systems.

Across Southeast Asia, organizations are shifting focus from experimental AI pilots to real-world operational execution. Temus, which employs approximately 500 professionals in Singapore, serves sectors including healthcare, defense, financial services, education, and government. The investment will allow both companies to expand service capabilities across the region without disrupting existing client engagements, operations, or project teams.

Executives from both firms highlighted that the integration addresses complex operating conditions, such as stringent regulatory requirements and constrained data environments. Sng Ren Yeong, Chief Executive Officer of Temus, stated that the partnership connects core components of AI development with large-scale deployment. By combining resources, the organizations intend to help enterprise and public sector entities across the region build the foundational infrastructure necessary for long-term AI integration.

พร้อมพร ชัยจิรวิวัฒน์ ผู้จัดการประจำประเทศไทย Thinking Machines Data Science ระบุว่า องค์กรในไทยกำลังเปลี่ยนผ่านจากการทดลอง ไปสู่การนำ AI มาใช้งานจริงภายใต้ข้อมูลที่ซับซ้อน โดยที่ผ่านมาบริษัทได้ให้บริการแก่องค์กรชั้นนำ อาทิ บริษัท บ้านปู จำกัด (มหาชน), ตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย, บริษัท ไทยออยล์ จำกัด (มหาชน) และโครงการพัฒนาแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNDP) การรวมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ Temus จะช่วยเสริมขีดความสามารถด้านวิศวกรรมข้อมูล การกำกับดูแลข้อมูล และการพัฒนาบุคลากรให้ครอบคลุมยิ่งขึ้น

ปัจจุบัน Temus มีทีมงานประมาณ 500 คน มีสำนักงานใหญ่ในประเทศสิงคโปร์ ให้บริการทรานส์ฟอร์มองค์กรครอบคลุมการพัฒนาระบบคลาวด์ แอปพลิเคชัน และการออกแบบประสบการณ์ใช้งาน สอดคล้องกับยุทธศาสตร์ Smart Nation และ National AI Strategy ของสิงคโปร์ ความร่วมมือในครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อยกระดับการปรับใช้ AI ขององค์กรทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนจากระยะทดลอง (Pilot) ไปสู่การใช้งานจริงในระดับ Production-Grade
